Right hand left hand

Which hand is your dominant? I happen to be right handed. I don’t know why, it’s just the way it is. I try to do things with my less dominant left hand, but it doesn’t turn out well.

Tried to sign my name. Even when I just used the letter “X” it was a scribble.

Tried to feed myself. Very awkward and sometimes messy and very slow.

My left hand fails to be as efficient as my right, or does it?

When I think about it, my right hand couldn’t do what was needed to properly assist my left hand. Think about when you’re tying your shoe. Both hands have a role to play in support of each other.

And so it goes, one hand takes the lead and the other supplies the complementary support. Much the same way it is for us in our roles at work, in our marriage, and as we walk through life. Some are dominant and some are complimentary support.

Actually, when you think about it, depending on the situation, we all are both.

Interesting fact Steve, never thought about it like that. Thanks for the insight.
