Are we persecuting our own?
We often talk about being mistreated by those who hate Christians, but are Christians mistreating Christians? Are you?
I dislike you because you are a different age, color, nationality or working class not realizing that you are a sibling in Christ.
You’re moving too slow in front of me and I’m in a hurry so I blast the horn, try to run you off the road and give you a special hand signal as I pass by not realizing you are a fellow Christian.
Christians come in all shapes, sizes and backgrounds with different levels of abilities and circumstances. My negative treatment of them could be making their moment or circumstance that much more unbearable , maybe even feeling as though satan has just sent one of his minions their way.
Are we allowing ourselves to be minions of the dark side?
Do you treat people inside the church different than you treat people outside?
Is there a possibility that you have contributed to someone’s disbelief in Christ because they saw you leave church and shortly after treat someone impatiently or with disrespect?
Are you guilty of persecuting a fellow Christian or causing disbelief to grow in others? Think about it. Who do you work for?
